F. Nick Jacobs is an officer of the Integrative Health Policy Consortium representing over 600,000 integrative practitioners. He served as the President and CEO of several organizations, including the Windber Medical Center and Windber Research Institute, the Conemaugh Health Foundation, Laurel Arts, and Laurel Highlands Tourism Bureau. Apart from this, he has also been in senior leadership roles for the Conemaugh Health System.
After leaving Windber, Nick established Integrative Medical Centers at the Atlantic Health System, the Hackensack University Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, and Park View Health System in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
He is currently the President of the Clinical and Translational Genome Research Institute and is working with Dr. Deepak Chopra at Lake Nona Orlando, Florida. In his spare time, he works as a consultant to the Department of Defense in breast cancer research.
Nick's teaching credits include the Plum Borough, Johnstown City, and Westmont School Districts.
His education comprises of Masters Degrees in both Education and Public Management Administration/Health Systems Management from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Carnegie Melon University. He also completed his certification in Health Systems Management form Harvard University and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Nick has written two books and is a regular contributor to two Somerset Country-based newspapers. He is currently a partner-owner in SunStone Management Resources and is a speaker for various events across the globe.
He has two children, Joanna and Nick, and is the proud grandfather of six grandchildren. He currently resides in Pittsburgh.
